SHOW YOUR HOME TO POTENTIAL BUYERS VIA A ROLLER COASTER

Have you guys ever sold your house? When potential buyers file in, you want them to see your spacious rooms—but you don’t want them lingering too long picking out the flaws. What’s the best way to hustle them through so they can see it all, without their eyes picking up on the imperfect miters on the crown molding and such?

Simple: Build an in-house roller coaster:

That’s an actual house for sale in Ermelo, Holland. The roller coaster was put together by Dutch bank ABN AMRO, which this month is running promotional events for their customers looking to sell their houses.

Not all of them will get roller coasters, of course; the bulk of the promotions will be bus stop posters, highway billboards, Facebook ads and the like, but the roller coaster vid is presumably meant to provide the viral juice (with us falling right into the bank’s clever clutches).

And yes, America, this is why we can’t have nice things. Over here the banks foreclose on our homes, over in Holland the banks build roller coasters in them. Plus this would never fly in the ‘States due to the lawyers, and I guarantee that every Yank watching that video was wondering about the liability and lack of seat belts.
